1992-93 Fleer Ultra Series 2 Basketball Hobby Sealed Box - SHAQ RC? 36 Pack Box
36 packs per box, 15 cards per pack
The complete premier 1992-93 Ultra basketball set (made by Fleer) consists of 375 standard-size cards. The set was released in two series of 200 and 175 cards, respectively. The glossy color action player photos on the fronts are full-bleed except at the bottom where a diagonal gold-foil stripe edges a pale green variegated border. The player's name and team appear on two team color-coded bars that overlay the bottom border. The horizontal backs display action and close-up cut-out player photos against a basketball court background. The team logo and biographical information appear in a pale green bar like that on the front that edges the right side, while the player's name and statistics are given in bars running across the card bottom. The cards are numbered on the back and grouped alphabetically within team order. Both series close with checklists (199-200/373-375). The second series contains more than 40 rookies, 30 trade cards, free agent signings, and other veterans omitted from the first series. The second series opens with an NBA Jam Session (201-220) subset. Three players from this Jam Session subset, Duane Causwell, Pervis Ellison, and Stacey Augmon, autographed a total of more than 2,500 cards that were randomly inserted in second series foil packs. These cards were embossed with Fleer logos for authenticity. Key Rookie Cards include Tom Gugliotta, Christian Laettner, Shaquille O'Neal, Latrell Sprewell and Clarence Weatherspoon.
